AVAC DVH LIVE (Duck viral hepatitis Vaccine)

DESCRIPTION
   Avac DVH Live (Duck viral hepatitis Vaccine) is made from attenuated Serotype I Duck Hepatitis virus propagated in SPF chicken embryos. This product has ability to stimulate its immune response and help to protect animal to Duck Hepatitis virus.

COMPOSITION
    Each dose of vaccine contains at least 10^3,3ELD₅₀ attenuated live Duck Hepatitis Virus and Stabilizers.

INDICATIONS
  Avac DVH Live vaccine is recommended for prevention of Duck Viral Hepatitis caused by Serotype I duck hepatitis virus. The vaccine provides partial immunity in 3-5 days after vaccination of duckling. Better immunity is achieve 7 days post vaccination which can last up to 1 month, ducklings should be given a second vaccination at 4 weeks of age. Vaccination of breeder duck at onset of laying will provide protective maternal antibody to ducklings.

DIRECTIONS:
    Reconstituted vaccine with the enclosed “Avac Diluent” Solution
- Ducklings at 1- 3 days old: inject 1 dose (0.5ml) of vaccine by intramuscular route on the leg of duckling or oral administration with 2 doses (1ml)
- Breeder ducks at 22-24 weeks old (one week before onset laying): Inject 1 dose (0.5ml) of vaccine in breast or leg muscle or oral administration with 2 doses (1ml).
During an outbreak: First examine and remove all clinically ill birds. Vaccinate all the remaining healthy birds.

PRECAUTIONS:
- For healthy duck use only
- Use only the sterile diluent supplied with the vaccine.
- Use entire contents of vial within 2- 3 hours after opening.
- Burn this container and all unused contents.
- Do not expose vaccine to either direct sun or extreme heat during vaccination.

STORAGE:
- Store at 2^oC- 8^oC, protected from direct sunlight.
