Avac - V6 FMD Emulsion

COMPOSITION
- Each dose of vaccine contains at least 10⁷TCID₅₀ inactivated Foot and Mouth Disease Virus type O, RAH06/FMD/O-135 strain and oily adjuvant (ISA 201 VG).

INDICATION

This vaccination is recommended for vaccination of cattle and swine against Foot and Mouth Disease...This vaccine induces quickly protective efficacy due to highly homologous antigen (r1 ≥ 0.3) of  RAH06/FMD/O135 virus strain and generate neutralizing antibodies and cross-protection with other FMD virus strain type O such as PanAsia, Mya98, Cathay and Ind2001d....infect on swine, cattle

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE: Intramuscular Injection

DOSAGE AND USAGE
- Shake well before use.
+ Pig, Cattle: 2ml/ head
+ Sheep, goat: 1ml/ head
- Swine, cattle, goat, sheep: If these animals were born from unvaccinated dams, all herds will received a shot at 14-day-old, boost a second time after 4- 5 weeks.
                                           If these animals were born from vaccinated dams, all herds should get a shot at 2,5-month-old, boost a second time after 4- 5 weeks.
- Boar, gilt, sow and pregnancy: periodical injection  6 month/ times.
- Cattle: periodical injection  6 month/ times.
- Sheep, goat over a year: periodical injection  1 year/ times.
* Low-risk areas for FMD infection:
+ Primary injection for young animals from unvaccinated dams:
- Piglets: Inject for all herds at 7- 14-day-old.
- Cattle, goat, sheep: Shot all herds as early as 14 days of age.
+ Primary injection for young animals from vaccinated dams:
- Piglets: Inject for all herds at 21- 30-day-old.
- Cattle, goat, sheep: Shot all herds as early as 2 months of age
+ Swine, cattle: periodiacally 4 months/ times; Sheep, goat: 6 months/ times.

PRECAUTIONS
- For healthy animals only.
- Carefully injection for pregnant animals.
- Vaccine should take to room temperature before using
- The opened vaccine vials must be used within 36 hours provided they have been stored between +2^oC and 8^oC.

SIDE EFFECTS
Vaccination may be followed by a small local swelling and/or slight pyrexia both of short duration.

STORAGE
- Keep vaccine at temperature between 2-8^oC, do not freeze.
- Shelf-life: 24 months from manufacture date.
