Avac PRRS Live

Avac PRRS Live is a lyophilized attenuated vaccine produced from PRRS/RTD1/2012 strain of PRRS virus that is proven safety in pigs. It creates cross-protection against heterologous challenges, especially high pathogenic challenges and has shown to significantly reduce reproductive failure and respiratory disease due to PRRSV.
COMPOSITION
Each dose of vaccine contains at least 10⁵TCID₅₀ of attenuated PRRS virus strain PRRS/RTD1/2012 and Stabilizers.
INDICATION
For active immunization for healthy pigs at 2- 3 weeks of age onwards against PRRS virus.
Pigs post-vaccination will have stronger protection and reduce viremia.
HANDLING
Reconstitution vaccine with the solvent “Avac Diluent” inserted, no reconstitution with others.
Shake well the vaccine before and during use.
Vaccine should be used within 2 hours post-reconstitution.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE: Intramuscular or Subcutaneous Injection in the neck in the area behind the ear
ADMINISTRATION
- Piglets over 3 weeks of age: Inject 2ml per head.
- Sows (maybe vaccination for pregnant sows): Inject 2ml per head. To keep a high level of immunity, re-vaccination regularly at 3- 4 months intervals.
PRECAUTIONS
- Only use for healthy pigs.
- Use one syringe for each herd of piglet
- The excess vaccine and vials need to be sterilized and handled according to the regulation.
- Use only sterilized tools and contained with no detergents to inject.
- If there is any vaccine reactions, please spray cool water and inject Adrealine for pigs which will help to recover quickly.
STORAGE
- Store at 2- 8^oC, protected from direct sunlight

- Vials: 10; 25; 50 doses (The inserted “Avac Diluent” with volume of 20ml; 50ml and 100ml, respectively)
SHELF-LIFE: Best before 18 months from manufacture
